If you had wished for an ideal vacation destination located only a couple of hours from your home, you could not have made a better choice: Baska. How to reach us depends on the type of transport you have chosen. It’s nice to remember that, even though Krk is an island, you don't have to wait for a ferry, because there is a 1,534-m-long Krk Bridge (info tel. +385 (0) 51 281 304), easily crossed within a minute. The view of the neighboring islands, land and crystal clear sea, as seen from the Krk Bridge, will leave a lasting impression on you.
Arrange your arrival in, for you, the easiest possible way. We have prepared some useful information for you:
arrival by car:
- from Italy: drive towards Trieste, cross over at the Kozina border crossing, continue in the direction of Rijeka, towards Kraljevica and the island of Krk, and over the bridge to Baska
- from Slovenia: drive towards Ljubljana, over Postojna, cross over at the Rupa border crossing, continue in the direction of Rijeka, towards Kraljevica and the island of Krk, and over the bridge to Baska
- from Hungary, Check Republic: drive towards Zagreb, over Karlovac, continue in the direction of Rijeka, towards Kraljevica and the island of Krk, and over the bridge to Baska

You can travel around the island in various directions on a boat available for rent at the Punat Marina
You can also fly above the island enjoying a panoramic flight on a small charter plane…
…or simply catch a glimpse of the island while traveling to the neighboring islands: to Cres on a ferry from Valbiska near Malinska or Rab on a ferry from Baska, operating every two hours during the high season (info: Baska Port Authorities: +385 (0) 51 856 281).
